RHS lost to Fairbanks 19-25,25-23,35-33,27-29,11-15 Taylor Leiss had 16 pts, 5 aces, 9 kills and 2 blocks Amelia Carter had 12 pts, 17 kills and 14 blocks Victoria Thompson had 11 kills and 18 blocks Erica Snapp had 12 kills, 9 blocks and 4 digs Abby Heaberlin had 7 pts, 13/15 serve receive and 10 digs Courtney Hurley had 11 pts, 5 kills and 131/132 setting Brooklynn Purtee had 9 kills and 2 blocks The girls had a tremendous night even though we didn't come away with the win. We started off a little behind and then they really stepped up there game. We battled back and forth the entire night and the girls never gave up even with some bad calls in the fourth game. I'm very proud of them they are a young group and very talented. They still have a lot to look forward to with tournaments starting on Saturday. I know if they wanted it bad enough they could end up in the sectional finals. Fairbanks is tough but by no means was this win for them handed to them by my girls. The are currently 15-7 overall and 6-1 in NWCC. They return to action Saturday night at 8:00 pm at Sidney High School for sectional tourney vs. Houston
