Riverside beat Botkins 25-23, 25-20, 25-17 Courtney Hurley had 11 pts, was 16/16 serving, 65/69 setting Erica Snapp had 9 pts, 9/9 serving, 7/7 serve receive and 5 kills Taylor Leiss had 7 pts, 10/10 serving, 3 kills Amelia Carter had 6pts, 4 kills, 2 blocks Brooklynn Purtee had 4 kills and 2 blocks Abby Heaberlin had 5 digs and Sarah Schindewolf had 7 digs. The girls had great teamwork and communication and that was a big factor for us today. I also have two players that come off the bench Megan Leiss and Victoria Thompson and they also did a nice job for us. It's been awhile since we've beat a Shelby County team and this was a big boost for us. We are currently 7-2 overall and 3-0 NWCC and return to action Tuesday at Waynesfield-Goshen in non-league competition. RHS JV lost to Botkins 25-19,25-22.
